who I am

First and foremost I am a father…

Diego Young and Cruz Young are my entry into the next generation. My alpha male wolf mentality being satisfied, I am pretty pleased with my two young men thus far.

I am a husband…

I may not be the best husband at times…but I would give anything for my best friend. I would fight to honor the words “till death do us part”. For it is a statement that I believe in with all my heart.

I am a vocalist…

The voice is my instrument and I use it to try and inflict emotion upon the listener…You. I am not the best singer…I am not the worst singer…but I will, and do, sing with passion and conviction. Taking all I can, and all I am, from myself and pass it to the listeners…you. That is my true passion.

I am a songwriter…

Stories of words are what I really enjoy. Spoken word and poetry are what started it all for me. Emotional conveyance of words in a pattern or cadence that denotes a touch of rhythm is what I really like.

I am an artist…

Pencil, paint, photography, speech, charcoal, metal, wood are all fare game.

I am a dreamer…

I am in a place I have not been in for quite sometime. Things are loose, undefined, and slightly askew…and I love every bit of the freedom that comes from this formulation. I am hoping that this interweb home I have created will finally allow me to park my thoughts, my creations, and my musings in one place. I know that I have used its absence as a crutch for quite some time now.
